New Jailbreak Laws Adopted in 2013

Jailbreaks have been considered legal until now, but legal representatives plan to change the current situation by adopting new laws in 2013. Based on the reports published so far, jailbreaks could be possible only for certain types of devices, depending on the year they have been produced and the activities they can perform.
The subject was first discussed in 1998 when Digital Millennium Copyright addressed the Congress to prohibit owners to jailbreak their devices.

The Congress took the requests of the company into consideration, but allowed some exceptions, nonetheless. The rules have been subject to a new analysis and, according to the Congress, customers can freely jailbreak their smartphones. The only gadgets that cannot be jailbroken are PCs and tablets.

Smartphones owners, too, will have some limitations. Digital Millennium Copyright announced on Monday that only the smartphones that have been purchased before 2013 can be breached with the help of the hacking software. As expected, the decision has caused a lot of discontent among smartphone owners who were hoping to get full access on their devices.

The only solution they have is to jailbreak their phones before the laws are enacted. Reporters at the Associated Press have informed us that the legal framework will be modified at the beginning of the spring 2013. Until then, customers can freely jailbreak their smartphones, irrespective of the year they have bought them.

There are many teams of developers that are working to release jailbreaks for smartphones, tablets and PCs. If you want to be able to use your device at its full potential, you should download one of the hacking programs that work for your device, install them on your gadget and follow the steps that are presented therein. Make sure you protect your device both before and after the installation of the hacking software as the warranty will no longer be valid if your device gets broken during the process.

There is no need to worry about potential risks as numerous customers have jailbroken their devices without experiencing any problems. Nothing can go wrong as long as you follow the instructions provided by developers and you don’t install third-party apps. This is the best moment to breach the software of your device as you won’t experience any legal problems; once the new laws will be enacted, choosing to jailbreak your smartphone can be dangerous.
