Apple to Release Retina Display iPad Mini and iPhone 5S with IGZO Display

Seeing as iPhone and iPad devices are so insanely popular, there’s always a plethora of rumors going around upcoming product. Staying ahead Apple is thrilling although reports make the wait time even more challenging. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo published his predictions for Apple’s 2013 product roadmap and according to that report, Apple will release a Retina Display iPad Mini and an iPhone 5S with IGZO display.

Following KGI expert Ming-Chi Kuo’s predictions for Apple products could be the safest way to get a beforehand preview of the newest i-devices. For now at least, he is one of the few with a good track record with Apple predictions. In 2012, Ming-Chi Kuo accurately announced Apple’s fall releases, including some of the changes the company made to its products.

The analyst’s predictions estimate Apple will release new product in the third quarter, as well as an iPad mini with Retina Display and an iPhone 5s with an IGZO display and a fingerprint sensor integrated in the home button. The estimated upgrades are considered essential for Apple’s progress and reputation in the market as an innovator. Plus, these enhancements should address the current bugs and consumer reported caveats.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes all new products from Apple will be lighter and thinner, particularly if the company integrates the IGZO technology in iPhone 5S’ display. There are reports confirming Apple has been talking with Sharp, the IGZO inventor, while Trip Chowdhry of Global Equities Research believes a “technology shift is happening at Apple”.

Computer World writes that an IGZO display will be lighter and will have a lesser strain on the iPhone 5S’ battery. It’s also easier to be cut into different shapes, which could easily allow for innovative design, not to mention it performs well in large high-resolution, so the display quality can be enhanced significantly.
