JED-GO Untouchable is one of the most basic zombie shooter games developed by iPhone. It’s the story of a manly moustache cowboy from the Old West who has to step up and protect artificial brains from hoards of hungry zombies. You guessed it, you’re Jed, that darn Old West cowboy who has to withstand the undead legions. You have all kinds of weapons to help you in your war and you can even win abilities to make the whole fight all the more surreal. You start with a plain cowboy pistol, but as you advance level by level you get spells, bazookas, lightning bolts, a dragon’s fire breath and even wizard powers.

The other free zombie game in App Store this week is Cowboy vs. Zombies, a classic if you will. You have to protect UnDeadwood city against hordes of zombies, but unlike JED-Go Untouchable this game focuses on strategy. Each zombie you kill gets you $1 in cash you can use to promote your cowboys from just guys with guns to deputies and sheriffs, making them stronger and better aimers. You have shotguns, snipers and dynamite at hand to kill those zombies and save your town.
